Children's Ministry
Sunday School is offered at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. every Sunday morning. Under Jenn’s (Children's and Youth Pastor) guidance, volunteers work together to guide the children into an appropriate relationship with Christ with activities geared to the age and learning needs of the children. Children are classed by age, and nursery is available to meet the needs of the youngest members of the congregation. Special events throughout the year include the Christmas Pageant/Concert, a special Good Friday presentation and opportunities for the kids to “take over the church” at regular intervals of the Church calendar. At St. Paul’s, we believe that Sunday School is so important that we offer it every Sunday of the year. Regular attendance ensures that the key life lessons learned by the children are worked into their lives and their hearts.
- On Wednesday nights, children of a variety of ages get together for Drama.
- St. Paul’s is also very blessed with and excited about the formation of our own Youth Worship Team.
- CSI (Christ Somewhere Inside) is a program geared to children aged 9 to 13 and offers a meaningful time of worship, fellowship, Bible study plus fun and games. gathers together from 6:45-8:15 p.m. on Thursday nights.
- Also on Thursday nights, for children aged 4 to 9, Foundations offers a curriculum that explores Bible teachings and scripture, worship, prayer, crafts, drama and games. Both Foundations and CSI strive to teach the principles of the Christian faith and how to apply that faith to everyday life. Both are mid-week programs offered from October to May and provide opportunities for ‘mission work’ and other special events. As outreach programs, we encourage the children and pre-teens not only to talk to their friends about their faith, but to invite them to join us for an evening of fellowship. Registration occurs in September and January but children are more than welcome to join the program at other times during the year.
